Why Choose an Independent Health Visitor?

Every family is assigned to a health visiting team (public health nursing team) prior to the birth of their baby. Currently the local provision is limited to a single contact where a family has been identified as ‘universal’. Euphoria Independent Health Visiting will complement this service through offering a bespoke care bundle, one that supports you through your parenting journey. Allow me to share my knowledge and experience, accumulated over decades of both paediatric nursing and health visiting. My support and reassurance will enable you to focus wholly on those precious moments with your baby, by reducing any parental anxiety and by giving you the tools to parent with confidence. The sharing of my knowledge base will ensure you are able to make positive and fully informed decisions about your care of your baby. Each contact will include a continuous assessment of need, a clear plan of care, and an evaluation to ensure I am meeting your needs. I offer three differing bundles to meet differing needs, with the option to upgrade at any time or to add additional visits to your chosen bundle. My most comprehensive care bundle, the ‘Elite’, is the most cost effective option. I am also able to offer independent focused support with breastfeeding, sleep and emotional health.

I offer an inclusive approach that recognises and values the importance of both parents’ involvement. I am able to flexibly give you the opportunity to book appointments in the evenings or at the weekend, allowing you both to choose to attend when otherwise you might not have been able to due to work commitments.(An additional charge will be incurred for appointments in the evenings or weekends).

I believe meeting with you in person, in a brief home visit, is the most transparent way for you to assess the service . The visit will offer you the opportunity to ensure you connect with me as an individual, to ask any questions you might have and for me to discuss my support within the care bundles in more detail. (A small charge will be incurred for this visit which will be deducted off the price of your package should you choose to use Euphoria).
